9 Months Old
Ethan is nine months old today and I cannot believe how fast the time goes! He is such a big boy, he has four teeth and is working on a couple more. He just started eating finger foods- toast and baby biscuits, etc. It makes me nervous becuase I'm afraid he might choke, but he does okay.
Ethan is crawling like crazy and we have had to rearrange our living room and get rid of some non-baby friendly furniture. He loves doors, he always wants you to bring him by one so he can swing it back and forth, or he'll crawl over to one and push it closed.
He is a very happy baby, sometimes he will fake cry when I take something away he shouldn't have or pick him up when he wants to be down- it is very cute! He is so much fun and we cannot remember what life was like before he came.

Fun on the Swings
Nonna and I babysat for Norah on Wednesday. We took Ethan and Norah to the park near Chiara's house. Ethan's fever had broke and he was feeling a little better this day. They both had a blast on the swings. Norah is big into trucks right now and there was some construction truck by this park becuase they are making a bike trail- anyway- Norah was very cute to watch because she was facinated by the trucks, but would get really scared if they came too close!
Sick Boy
Ethan, Nonna and I went to Iowa the last weekend in September to visit Chiara, Norah and James. We drove down on Tuesday afternoon and came back on Saturday, so it was a nice long trip. Ethan had been feeling a little under the weather before we left. On the drive down I took his temp and it was a little high, when we got to Iowa, it was a little higher so I called his doctor. She gave some directions, told me not to worry (yeah right!), and if he didn't start to feel better in two days to take him to a doctor. Well, his fever broke the next day, but by Thursday he was still really fussy and just not his normal self, so I took him to Chiara's pediatrician. Turns out he developed an ear infection, the doctor prescribed antibiotics, and he started to feel better just as we were leaving Iowa on Saturday!
