Gentle Giant

Chiara and Nonna started calling Ethan the "gentle giant." Ethan is a little on the big side, and does tend to leave a path of destruction in his wake, but he also has a soft side. He loves to give hugs and kisses, he loves to play "soft" with dolls, and aparently he loves to wear pink princess crowns. He found this crown amidst Norah's toys and would constantly bring it over to me wanting me to put it on his head. It was pretty cute!
Ethan and Norah had a great time playing together! We apologized numerous times to Chiara for destroying her house, but I helped paint her bathroom, so we are even :-)

Pool Party!

When we returned from our walk, we decided to set up the kiddy pool for Norah and Ethan. They had a blast!! Summer is almost here- I can hardly wait!!!

Iowa City

Ethan, Nonna, and I went to Iowa City this past weekend to visit Chiara, James and Norah. On Friday we went for a walk downtown. It was about 85 degrees! Ethan and Norah had fun watching the ducks in the river.

Easter

Here are some pics of Ethan from Easter Sunday. It was a good day. We went to church in the am and over to the Bradford's for Easter dinner. Grandma Ginny got Ethan a big yellow duck! Ethan loves it. Ethan almost choked on a 1/2 of a plastic egg- that was pretty scary! After I removed the egg from his mouth he started crying, I don't know if it was because he couldn't breath- and that scared him, or if it was my screaming at the top of my lungs!! I obviously do not do well in tense situations!!

Zero and Ethan

Ethan giving Zero a hug. Ethan has been giving hugs for awhile now, it's so cute when I ask him to give the dog a hug! Zero's very tolerant of Ethan- he's a good dog.

Mamma's Helper- sort of

Ethan would much rather play with Zero's food and water bowls . . . banging them together, playing in the water, pouring the water out, finding other bowls or magnets to put inside the water bowl, etc. For whatever reason he finds that much more entertaining than playing with all his toys that sing and make noise!

Play Room!

I'm slowly turning our office into the office/play room. I moved a bunch of Ethan's toys into the room and freed up my living room a bit! Ethan still prefers to play with everything he shouldn't . . .
