Heat Wave!

Summer is finally here! It has been pretty hot in Michigan over the past few days. I went out and bought a little kiddie pool for Ethan. Norah is visiting from Iowa so they had another pool party! I love the face Ethan is making in the last pic!

Father's Day

Some pics of Ethan and Jim on Father's Day. It was a nice day, we went swimming and had a father's day cookout.

Jim's 30!

Jim turned 30 on June 12, so we had a little party at our house on Saturday. It was nice getting together with family and friends to celebrate! Ethan also received a few gifts- Grandma Ginny made him a hawaian shirt to match on that Jim has, and Grandma Sue bought him a whitecaps T-shirt with "Bradford" on the back!

Pasta night!

Ethan has entered the stage where he wants to feed himself all the time. Unfortunately, when he attempts this, most of the food ends up on the floor or in his bib. I've discovered that he will let me assist him IF he can hold onto a spoon (or fork) and feed himself in between the bites that mamma gives him! It's a pretty interesting system we have worked out!

Festival 2009

Ethan, Jim, and I went downtown to Festival in early June. Ethan had his first taste of an Elephant Ear- he really liked! There were a ton of people downtown- it was fun to watch Ethan survey the crowds!
