Sunday Dinner 6
Jim got a fire pit/bowl thing for Father's Day. We had a little fire after dinner so we could make smores. The kids sure did like them- and the adults too!

Trampoline Fun
On Sunday we went up to Jim's Uncle Pat's house for a birthday get together. Uncle Pat has a trampoline out back. At first, Ethan was hesitant to get on it, but once his cousins started jumping- he joined right in!
I tried to teach them "crack the egg"- they sort of got it. That was the only trampoline game I could remember from when I was a kid . . .
Ethan had a great time and he slept like a rock! I don't think he moved one bit during the night! What a great way to burn some kid energy!
June Birthdays
June is a busy birthday month in our family. This weekend we celebrated Addy's 4th Birthday, Grandma Marge's 87th Birthday and Jim's 32nd birthday.
There was a Hawaiian themed party for Addy. Ethan tried to caress the pinata open- but that didn't work. It was funny how gentle he was with the bat- we kept telling him to whack it hard, but I think he was hesitant b/c the pinata was a human- not a donkey head, or silly animal shape.
I love the picture of Aunt Kerri and Lucia- Kerri was sweeping her hair out of her face so I made her take 3 more pictures, but looking back at them, this first one was the best :-)
In the bottom picture, Lucia and Grandma Marge share a quiet moment at Addy's birthday party.

Birthday Girl
The Great Escape
Lucia and Luca were trapped on their island of blankets playing with some toys. Luica decided she had had enough and wanted to come join the fun on the patio. After feeling the grass for awhile, she decided it was time to just go for it!
She starts crawling out into the grass trying not to use her legs or let them touch the grass!
Poor Luca is left all alone on the blanket- look at his worried expression!
"Now what am I supposed to do!"

Lucia and Luca
Jim, Ethan, Lucia and I went to Chicago this past weekend to visit Chiara, James, Norah and Luca. Lucia and Luca did a good job of playing next to each other! There were times when they would interact by handing things back and forth. It was so hot this weekend, so we set up the kiddy pool- they loved it!
