Double the Pleasure

Ethan has been a bit of a handful lately . . . today I walk into the living room and he had found two pacifiers in his diaper bag. We're supposed to working on weening the pacifier, I think we just took a step backwards- oh well!

So, we forgot to take one on Sunday when we were all dressed nicely. This was taken on Monday right before we left. Ethan has about had it with pictures at this point and would not cooperate- plus the sun was in our eyes- don't we look great!

Pregnant Wonders

Chiara and I took this picture to appease our mother. She always says we do not take enough pictures, etc., etc. Chiara is due May 20 and I'm due July 26th. It will be great to have these kids so close in age!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Here are a few before pics. I love Ethan's outfit- he looked so serious and grown up- like a little business man! And Norah looked so ladylike! Time sure does fly . . .

Easter Outfits

We tried to have Ethan and Norah pose together for a nice Easter picture in their cute outfits. This was the best I could do! The would not look at the camera at the same time- it was very frustrating! I love the second one b/c they are more facinated by dirty leaves than taking a nice picture!

Easter Eggs

Chiara and I decided to dye Easter eggs with the kids. Norah was a very good girl during this process and did not touch the cups without Chiara's help/permission. Ethan, on the other hand, continued to reach for the cups despite numerous warning- and finally got one- and dumped orange dye all over himself and me!

Easter Weekend In Iowa

Ethan, Jim and I headed to Iowa to spend Easter with Chiara, James and Norah. Ethan had a great time tormenting- I mean spending- time with Norah. The weather was beautiful on Saturday, so Norah and Ethan had lunch outside.

Easter Egg Hunt

Nonna's work hosted an Easter Egg hunt in the beautiful gardens they have. Ethan and Addison came for the hunt and had a great time. They even had a big parachute that the kids had fun playing under!

Baby Girl Bradford!!!

It's a Girl! Jim and I went for my 20wk ultrasound this morning, right away the technician asked if we wanted to know, we said yes, and she said "it's a girl." I started crying a little b/c I'm hormonal- and I was really hoping for a girl this time, so when she actually said it- it was Great!

This first picture is pointing at Baby Girl's girl bits. The technician said she can tell the difference b/w boys and girls b/c boys bits look like little turtles and girls bits look like tulips. I don't quite see it, but I'll take her word for it!

Zio Marco and Zia Rafaella

My aunt and uncle from Italy came for a visit for a few weeks in February. Ethan warmed right up to them! Seeing them makes me want to head to Italy to visit the rest of my family! Maybe one day . . .

"Seriously?"

Mamma and Daddy got Ethan this T-shirt for his birthday. Ethan opened it last, and it took everyone a second to realize what the shirt actually meant- Ethan, of course, knew what it meant the moment he opened it up. Given his expression, he would like it returned.

Birthday Cake

Elmo helped celebrate Ethan's brithday with us! Ethan didn't know what to do when presented with the candles! Daddy helped out and they blew the candles out together.

Before the party began, sporting his "smoking sweater" uncle Marco sent him for Christmas, watching Mamma and Nonna decorate the house.

Ethan's birthday was January 11- I'm obviously a little slow at posting things on the blog!

Finger Painting

Ethan enjoys painting and coloring. Here is is working on his first masterpiece! I love his expression in the second picture, kind of evil looking in a way . . .

Snow!

Ethan went out in the snow for the first time a few weeks ago. We bundled him up and walked to the park near our house. He loved walking around in it and we even pushed him down a few small hills- in his sled of course!
