Today, Jim said that Ethan picked up his purple play phone, dialed some numbers, held it up to his ear and said: "Hello." pause- like he listening to the person on the other end. "yes, I can come to the meeting, what day?" pause . . . "Thursday- okay." then he hung up. Jim asked him what meeting he had to go to, but he wouldn't share.

I think he will be the one to perform on stage one day - I know adult actors who can't do correct phone calls on the stage!
if jarrod has instilled anything in that kid, it is the ability to hold a believable phone conversation with no one on the other line
