Just When You Thought I was Clean

Ethan decided to take a nice juciy poop right after we got him all dried off. That's poop water on the front of my shirt. He also peed on me right before his bath- it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it (too bad it couldn't have been Jim this time!)

1st Bath

Ethan did very well during his 1st bath. We had to give him a sponge bath becuase his umbilical has not fallen off yet. He didn't scream all that much, despite what it may look like in the pictures!

As you can see, Ethan has no idea what he's in for.

Funny Faces

Ethan makes some pretty funny faces, especially when nursing. Here are a few taken this morning with Grandma Maria. I need to try and capture his "pissed off old man" look he gives me when he eats- it's great.

Newborns and car seats don't go together very well- it's hard getting him in and out of there!

Even though the hospital rooms came equiped with 35in wide screed HD televisions, Jim was very happy to finally come home. He was trying to figure out a way to leave with one of the TV's "just stuff it down your maternity pants- there's extra room now."
