Hanging on for dear life!

Ethan has started to pull himself up and hang onto things standing up (in his crib for example). He can't quite reach the top of the pack and play when he's kneeling, so I helped him out on this one. He loves to hang on and stand though, it tires him out too!

Ava-what-o?

Ethan tried Avacado for the first time tonight, wasn't a big fan. I think he may like it better when he's on finger foods . . .

Celebration on the Grand

Jim, Ethan, and I went downtown during the first weekend in September for the Celebration on the Grand. Jarrod's band, Chance Jones, was playing- they were very good. It was Ethan's first rock concert, he didn't know what to make of it, but seemed to enjoy it! It was a good time.

Norah and Ethan

Ethan had a great time in Iowa learning from his cousin Norah. It was so funny to watch him look and her with his "concentrating look" on his face. Here they are sharing a bath. Norah now gives kisses, here she is giving one to Ethan. It was great to spend time with Chiara, James, and Norah.

Go Blue!

Nicholas, Sunny, Francesca, Jarrod, Jim and I went to Iowa over Labor Day weekend to visit Chiara and James and to go to a Iowa Hawkeyes game. The football game was okay, it was very hot and not a cloud in the sky. Iowa beat Maine. We left after the 3rd quarter becuase it was so hot!

Big Boy Bath

We finally retired the baby bath tub. Ethan loves bath time, I think he loves it even more now that he's in the big tub.
