Ethan's Six Month Photos

On Saturday, Jim, Ethan, and I met a photographer (Stacey Clack) at Aquinas College to have Ethan's six month photo's taken. She did an amazing job. Ethan did very well during the session, he only started to get fussy towards the end. You can check out some pictures of the photo shoot on the photographers blog site: staceyclackphotography.blogspot.com

Zero and Ethan

I think Zero is going to be a very good baby dog. He lets Ethan pull his ears and poke at him and doesn't get upset. All Zero asks in return is for Ethan to open his mouth wide so he can lick out any remaining food- Ethan, unfortunately, is happy to oblige Zero in his request.

Loungin' Around

Ethan loves the pool and this floating duck thing. I can't wait for him to see the ocean when we go to Cape Cod next week!

Swimming with Jake and Cheryl

My friend Cheryl and her 1 year old Jake came over on Sunday to swim. Jake is turning into such a little man! he is always on the go, he picks things up and just chucks them. I know babies have to start walking at some point, but after seeing Norah, and now Jake, moving around as fast as they can and their poor mothers chasing them- it makes me wish Ethan would wait until he's 2 to start walking!

Zero Loves Sweet Potatoes Too!

Zero cannot wait until Ethan starts eating finger foods and drops them all over the floor. For now, licking it off Ethan will have to do! Ethan loves Zero, when Zero is coming at his mouth to lick up remains, Ethan will open his mouth and close his eyes and smile! I usually yell at Zero when he starts making out with Ethan, but I thought I would get a picture first!

Human Poop

Now that Ethan's diet has expaned to cereal (rice and oatmeal) two times per day, he is having a much more difficult time going number 2. I (alessia) was stressing out of course becuase he went from going 2-3 times per day, to skipping two or three days before EXPLODING! Here is Ethan on day two of no #2. We were eating dinner at Nonna's and we heard some strange grunting noices coming from his direction. I turned to look and he was making the funniest faces! After all that grunting and pushing, nothing came! It wasn't until the following day (day 3) when he left a huge present for mom to clean up in his diaper. I miss the breastmilk poops!

Ethan and Norah had a blast swimming. Chiara and Norah came to Michigan for 10 days to visit, it was great to spend time with them. Nicholas has been working hard on his tan and physique- show off!
