Way back on July 1st we took the kids to Binder Park Zoo. Ethan and Lucia had a great time! We enjoyed the variety of animals (kangaroos and giraffes- and much more!), as well as the layout of the zoo- it was very natural. The exhibits were built around existing trees, etc. (at least that what it looked like).

The absolute, most favorite part of the zoo visit was feeding the giraffes- I think it blew Ethan and Lucia's minds!
They were pretty cute- the kids and the giraffes!
When we were in the petting zoo area, I kept hearing this "Heeelp!" screech. I thought it was a kid yelling "help!" over and over. Turns out- it was a peacock- this one actually! Very pretty birds with a weird call!
