What a snow day we have had here in Michigan (and 2/3 of the US!). We woke up this morning to this sight. 16in. of snow fell in 24 hours here in Grand Rapids- almost beating the Blizzard of 1978 (the meteorologists kept referring to that Blizzard). Jim spent 4 hours digging out our driveway, side walks, car, etc. today- I'm sure glad I got to stay inside with Lucia.
Ethan and I did venture out later in the afternoon for a walk- that was a mistake on my part. He couldn't walk through the high drifts and would just lay down and claim defeat- I had to carry him towards the end- not easy!
